THE BRIDE
************************************************************
Of all the planning and preparations and purchases that will be made for the wedding celebration, nothing will more dramatically affect how you look and feel on your wedding day than your gown, just a few tips...
Schedule an appointment with the bridal salon of your choice to ensure that a dressing room and personal consultant will be available to help you try on gowns.
Invite only your mother and one close friend to accompany you. any more opinions will only add anxiety.
Most salons offer wide selection of gown styles all in one size to allow them to carry a larger selection so they may not have your exact size.
A salon consultant will always assist you in trying on dresses and will be invaluable in helping you select styles that flatter your best features and camouflage the flaws. Trust her and share your preferences with her. Don't be afraid to speak up about what you do and don't like about the gowns you're trying on.
Try on all different styles, even those you normally wouldn't choose. However, keep in mind, if any feature of a gown makes you uneasy while simply trying it on, think of the discomfort on your wedding day.
Don't forget about lingerie. Once you've selected your gown, ask you consultant for recommendations for appropriate undergarments. Be sure to bring these items to your dress fittings.
